Amazment

I just love the picts of Shelby and Rylee taken at the end of 2006. I can see amazment in both their eyes, Shelby at Rylee and Rylee at the world. The picts don't do the colors of the LO justice, but you get the idea. I used Storybook, and Plantin Schoolbook for the titles, black magic coordinates paper and the Butterflies and Blossoms DCWV stack.

Friday Layouts

I spent Friday scrappin'. It felt so good to get back into it. I really like how these turned out. I used my new Jukebox from Lesley, & Wow what a difference that little machine makes! Thanks again friend! These are all of Christmas 05 and 06 which are combined and intermixed somewhat because I am a non-chronological scrapping dork and I got then mixed up!
This first one is of Hunter and his "shaving kit"

Shelby's coveted Heeley's which she only got to use for 2 months before breaking her arm after falling! The Santa is from Christmas Cheer and I ran his beard throught the Cuttlebug. The lettering is PS.

Tammy wearing Dad's new jersey. Banner is from Christmas Cheer

Simply LO useing stickers as part of the words. This is kinda fun to do, reminds me of some of those stories in school. Makes for a fun look too!

This is a simple LO but it is Shawn's favorite of the bunch. I used Christmas Solutions and OA for the lettering. The GRAND was a play on all 4 of my parents' grandkids in the pict. I used my clear glitter pen over the lettering to bling them up a bit and I traced some of the lines in the paper to make them pop a bit. Simple is a simple does and sometimes that is the best.

Collage of picts & I used a CM quilt template that I have had for quite some time.

Silly picts...

CM template again...

Mom's bling. Lettering is from OA and the ornament and trees are from Christmas Solutions. Trees were ran through the CB and inked.

This was the first for the day and my least favorite. You can kinda tell I was rusty, but oh well. Tree is from CS!

Thanks for looking...now get scrappin!

HAPPY CHRISTMAS 2008

This page is a total scraplift from Teriberi's halloween card but I just couldn't resist. I used Bazzill bling glass slipper for the dress and felt paper for the hat. The sentiment is from the Christmas solutions cartridge and the year is from Storybook.

Some new things

I haven't posted for a long time. Mostly since all I have worked on was Christmas cards and a recipe swap. Also, because for some reason blogger was cutting my pictures in half. Let's see if it does it again...the first is a grad picture for a friend who just graduated cosmotology school. The second is retirement/christmas card for a lady at work and finally a guy happy birthday card. Guy cards are arguably the hardest to do! Lastly, these are cuts I made with the scalloped punch from SU and the threading water punch. These should make good bases for stamped images.
Well it cut them in half...but you get the picture..ha! If you click on the image the whole picture will show.

Lost without the Message Board!

The Cricut MB has been down all day and I am having serious withdrawls! I miss my Cricut friends, their creations and inspiration! I have gotten my scrap desk reorganized today, and have IM'd with Lesley quite a bit too. My laundry is mostly done and the house is picked up. I guess that is life without the MB...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LESLEY!!!

Here is a picture of your card...

oh I guess you will have to wait until it gets there to see it! I hope your day was fabulous!

Ok here it is! I am so glad that you enjoyed your birthday and birthday card.

Kids for Halloween!

Here are a couple of pictures of the kids for Halloween. They went Trick or Treating downtown with their Auntie and then Daddy and I took them in town. We fininished it up by a dinner at Jan's!

My Shelby must be growing out of Halloween since she ended up in a bathrobe and her jammies...the first step to stopping dress up!

Hunter was Boba Fett this year for Halloween. I have heard of nothing but Star Wars for weeks since he got this costume! LOL!

A few cards

Here are a few cards that I made recently. The purple one is a get well card for my Mom, she fell last week and broke her arm and some ribs. Poor Mommy, I hope you feel better soon! The butterfly stamp on that card is a gift from Lesley, isn't it gorgeous! The other card is one for my boss for boss's day. Everyone in my work unit went together and got him some chocolate and I made this card. It is simple but I really like the way it turned out.

Recent Layouts and Cards

I went to a crop in town this weekend and Lesley came up to crop with us! I had so much fun and actually completed 20 pages. It is the first time in a long time that I was relaxed enough to actually get some scrapping done at a crop! Here are most of them. There are a few that I cannot post since I don't have a clue if the people in them would want their picts on the net or not.

Sweet Shelby going for her dreams!
