A few cards
Here are a few cards that I made recently. The purple one is a get well card for my Mom, she fell last week and broke her arm and some ribs. Poor Mommy, I hope you feel better soon! The butterfly stamp on that card is a gift from Lesley, isn't it gorgeous! The other card is one for my boss for boss's day. Everyone in my work unit went together and got him some chocolate and I made this card. It is simple but I really like the way it turned out.

Recent Layouts and Cards
I went to a crop in town this weekend and Lesley came up to crop with us! I had so much fun and actually completed 20 pages. It is the first time in a long time that I was relaxed enough to actually get some scrapping done at a crop! Here are most of them. There are a few that I cannot post since I don't have a clue if the people in them would want their picts on the net or not.

For the Love of Coffee!!!
I love coffee...hot, strong coffee with just a bit of sugar and milk or cream. Coffee is one of the first things I think about in the morning and Tuesday morning was no different...except that on this day I spilled my beloved coffee. Oh but it gets better...I didn't just dribble some, or splash it, no...I tipped the whole cup over~where?...right on top of my laptop computer!!! I am so bummed! Thankfully I had the forethought to anticipate this little action and when I bought the computer I also bought 3 years worth of care protection so my computer is covered. When I called Dell I was delighted to get an indivdual whom I could understand, however...he was one gig short of a complete hard drive if you know what I mean!!! Finally he told me that my computer would have to be sent in for service because it was likely damaged, duh!!! I am quite thankful though (at least for now) that it appears my hard drive was not affected by this incident. I guess time will tell. So my lap top is on it's way to be fixed and I am stuck sharing the computer with the kids. Well maybe not sharing it with them...they have been fighting so much lately I may have to take their computer privelages away!

HAZMAT!
I got to go to a HAZMAT class today at the hospital in Salida. Whoa! Early on in the class I got to thinking that this was way over my head. We were being taught classifications of chemicals are being transported and that I can tell this by reading those little placards on all 4 sides (that is a regulation)of a vehicle. I learned a whole bunch more which will only bore you, but in the end I had fun. It was really interesting to learn something so outside of my realm and I am quite glad I got to go.

Journey...
Today the kids and I took a journey to Colorado Springs. I had several errands to run there and since we had driven so far I wanted to take the kids to do something fun. We went to see the 3D movie, Journey to the Center of the Earth! WOW!!! this was a really fun movie. Of course it was predictable, we knew they would be ok, and it was pretty unrealistic as far as the stunts and how far they fell and how far they were blown out of the earth, but the effects were cool! The story was fun and there were enough surprises in the flick to make it a really good time! It is definately a theater movie, but I am sure this one will be added to our DVD library as it is good for the kids and can be watched over and over again!

Two pages
I just completed two pages. I might post them later but they are from High School! Yikes! My 20 year is next year and I am just now getting back to scrapping High School! Believe it or not, I have scrapbooked since High School! Oh well! While organizing pictures though I discovered I don't have any from my graduation~well of me that is. I have plenty that are of my friends but none of me! I hope Mom can find them. LOL!
